Tomo yearned to transition from a behind-the-scenes role to becoming an active cultural bridge, connecting non-Japanese audiences with the wisdom and artistry she valued deeply. However, she faced obstacles such as a lack of technical savvy and uncertainty about how to shape this vision into a sustainable ecosystem. She needed a partner to help her build a platform that could support her ambitions, spread Eastern culture, and sustain the artisans’ legacy.
